Definition of: Interlinking
This is the internal linking of a web site between its pages, leading from one to another and creating user paths. This aspect covers any type of link such as menus, images, or hyperlinks, among others. This can be done organically or with a strategy focused on improving SEO or creating specific paths to guide the user.
If a link is directed to a page outside the domain of the website in which it is located, it would no longer be part of interlinking, being more linked to linkbuilding or external linking.
This aspect is particularly relevant to search engine crawling on a website and the user experience.
