Geotelecom had the privilege of attending the Association of Young Entrepreneurs "garAJEwhere the "The Google Academies about Google Analytics.
Google Academies - Google Analytics in Madrid - First Quarter By the hand of Eduardo Sánchez Rojoco-founder of The Art of Measuring and Google Analytics Regional Trainer, we were able to learn about the web analytics industry and the user experience on the page from the point of view of one of the world's leading experts in this sector. Among the tips discussed were GA events, smart targeting, and the sources to which user sessions are attributed.
There was also time for a brief presentation of Google Tag Manager, a Google tool focused on the implementation of tags within the pages. In this same area, two very useful and practical tools were also presented, which are used to carry out small audits on the tags installed on the pages: the Google Analytics Debugger and the Google Tag Assistant.
As happens every year, these sessions were a very good opportunity to bring this type of analysis closer to professionals from other sectors, as well as to make a great exercise of coworking and feedback among all attendees. The room was full but, despite this, there was enough time to satisfy the doubts of all attendees.
The presentations were very dynamic and were full of useful tips that will help attendees in their daily analysis. As a criticism it is worth mentioning that some allusion to Dynamic Remarketing was missing, as it is an aspect that gives headaches to many professionals, either by the implementation of specific parameters in the label or by the custom parameters that must be created from Google Analytics.
