Definition of: Organic positioning

This is the location in which a web page appears in the results offered by search engines, for a specific search performed by users, without investing in ads.

The terminology "organic" is used because it is something that is achieved by working on the web, without investing in advertising, and that you end up being awarded by each search engine based on what it understands that it can offer your page with respect to the user's search.

Thus, the more your content matches what the user is looking for and the better optimized it is to offer a good experience, the more likely it is that you will get a better position, among other factors.
